The Niemi Lab is always interested in hearing from bright, curious minds.

Our laboratory will afford multidisciplinary training, with opportunities to develop technical skills in mammalian physiology, genetics, cell culture, molecular biology, biochemistry, and multi-omic analyses. In addition to our scientific interests, we place substantial value on developing scientific thinking, mentoring, and providing a laboratory culture that allows all of our members to thrive.

Postdoctoral Fellows:

We are always excited to hear from postdoctoral candidates seeking a training experience in our laboratory. Interested candidates should send Natalie a CV, statement of interest, and contact information for three references.

Graduate students (Ph.D. and M.D./Ph.D.):

We are actively recruiting graduate students from Ph.D. and M.D./Ph.D. programs at WashU to complete their thesis research in our laboratory. If interested, please contact Natalie directly to discuss potential projects and rotations.

Undergraduates:

Interested undergraduates should send Natalie a CV and statement of interest as a starting point for discussing goals and projects while working in the lab.

Technicians and Scientists:

We currently do not have any openings for technicians and scientists.
